Quick answers
- A blocked app still sends notifications. Blocking hides an app; only a Focus silences notifications, and iOS does not let any app turn a Focus on. Use Settings → Focus → Focus Filters → Lock-in, or the optional shortcut.
- The Do Not Disturb button does nothing. The shortcut name must match exactly, capitalisation included. Lock-in cannot read your shortcuts library to check — use Test it in Settings → Do Not Disturb.
- A schedule did not run. iOS refuses windows shorter than 15 minutes, and every selected day counts as its own window. Settings → Debug → Windows iOS holds lists exactly what is registered.
- I blocked Lock-in itself and cannot open it. The session still ends on time by itself, and the block lifts with it. To get in sooner, delete the app or clear it in Settings → Screen Time.
- I forgot the parental PIN. There is no back door — that is the point. Deleting the app removes the lock and its settings.
Reporting a problem
Include your iOS version, iPhone model, and what you were doing. If a schedule misbehaved, the Windows iOS holds list from Settings → Debug is the single most useful thing you can send.
Privacy
Lock-in has no account and no server, so there is nothing to delete and no data to request. See the privacy page.
